I absolutely love yoga as it has truly transformed my life. I went from being an exhausted mum to a high-achieving and fully satisfied woman, who can find calm and peace on the mat and, sometimes, even off of it. What Is Neurocentric Training?
Unlike the traditional approach to physical training, which primarily targets the musculoskeletal system, neurocentric training prioritizes the nervous system. Movement originates in the brain and is intricately tied to the nervous system’s function. Neurocentric training, rooted in functional neurology, represents an innovative paradigm. It not only enhances movement proficiency and performance but also addresses pain management and reduces the risk of injury. In my practice, I complement conventional asana, pranayama, and meditation with targeted visual, vestibular, proprioceptive, and breathing exercise
What Is Somatics?
Somatics is a holistic approach that focuses on increasing awareness and connection between the body and the mind. Somatic practices help you use your internal awareness — like proprioception, interoception, and kinesthetic awareness — to reveal parts of yourself and your experiences that you may not have noticed before. This process brings unconscious thoughts and feelings into your awareness, giving you more choices in how you move, act, think, and live. It enhances your physical abilities and helps you reach your full potential as a person.
Online yoga
I believe yoga should be accessible to everyone, no matter how busy life gets. For many of us, fitting in a studio class can be challenging, especially with work or family commitments. That’s why online yoga is such a great option! It allows us to practice whenever it fits our schedule, without the stress of rushing to a class or worrying about disruptions. Being in our own space means we can fully relax and focus on our practice, free from distractions and the pressure of others around us.
